Biostar Offers $40 Discount on AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT Graphics Card
Biostar has announced a price reduction on their reference Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card. The new price of $859 is a significant drop from the previously suggested retail price of $899.
This price cut makes the RX 7900 XT an even more competitive option against its rivals, the RTX 4080 and 4070 Ti graphics cards. In addition to offering more memory, the AMD card also boasts a USB Type-C display connector, making it an attractive choice for users who require this feature. Moreover, the RX 7900 XT does not require any special power adapters, relying instead on standard power connectors.
With this price cut, Biostar’s Radeon RX 7900 XT is now more accessible to a wider range of users, providing them with a powerful and feature-rich graphics card at an affordable price.
The Radeon RX 7900 XT was released in December and has since been readily available without any supply issues. Unlike the XTX model, which currently is not available at its suggested retail price, the reference design of the 7900 XT has not faced any vapor chamber issues. Whether the card is sold by Biostar or any other company, the MBA (Made by AMD) design remains unchanged.
In comparison, NVIDIA’s least expensive RTX 4080 still retails for $1,199, making it $340 more expensive than the RX 7900 XT. While the RTX may be faster, the significant 40% price difference between the two cards makes the RX 7900 XT a more attractive option to consider.
