NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti: Launch Dates, Specs and Performance Revealed

The GeForce RTX 5070 is set to officially launch on March 5th, slightly later than the originally planned February release. Following this will be two more Blackwell architecture products: the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060. NVIDIA initially planned to release both cards in March, but all schedules have been pushed back due to ROP (Render Output Unit) deficiencies discovered in the GB20x chips.

NVIDIA will first introduce the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB version in late March, followed by the 8GB variant in April. The RTX 5060 will launch even later, likely also in April. Rumors suggest the RTX 5060 Ti will target the $400-500 price segment with a total board power of 180W—15/20W higher than the RTX 4060 Ti (16GB/8GB versions). The PCB designs PG152 SKU 15 and PG152 SKU 10 will correspond to the 16GB and 8GB variants respectively. Some models will feature the 12V-2x6 power connector, while others will use a single 8-pin connector.

According to leaks, the RTX 5060 Ti will be built around either the GB205 or GB206 chip, featuring 36 SM units (4,608 CUDA cores). The card will utilize 16Gb (2GB) GDDR7 memory modules running at 28 Gbps across a 128-bit memory interface, delivering a memory bandwidth of 448GB/s. Thanks to the next-generation memory chips, the RTX 5060 Ti's memory bandwidth represents a substantial 55% increase over the RTX 4060 Ti and a 65% improvement compared to the RTX 4060—a remarkable advancement in performance.
