Kingston Launches PCIe 5.0 SSD DC3000ME for Enterprise Applications

Yesterday, Kingston announced the release of its enterprise-grade PCIe 5.0 solid-state drive (SSD), the DC3000ME. Designed with a U.2 15mm form factor, this SSD utilizes 3D eTLC NAND flash memory and features PLP (Power Loss Protection) to ensure data integrity, making it ideal for server applications.

The Kingston DC3000ME SSD is available in three capacity options: 3.84TB, 7.68TB, and 15.36TB. All versions are rated for a durability level of 1 Drive Write Per Day (1DWPD) and come with a five-year warranty. In terms of power consumption, the SSD has an idle power draw of 8W and a maximum write power consumption of 24W.

One of the standout features of the DC3000ME is its I/O consistency and low latency, with read latency below 10µs at a 99% load and write latency under 70µs. Additionally, it supports NVMe Management Interface (NVMe-MI) 1.2b for out-of-band management, end-to-end data protection, and TCG Opal 2.0 for enhanced security.

With its advanced specifications and reliability, the Kingston DC3000ME SSD is set to meet the demanding needs of modern enterprise environments.
